Idaho Recording Law?
Tim;
I have a question on Idaho recording law? Is Idaho a 1 party state or 2 party state? I thought for sure it was 1 party but I read an article online that looks like it contradicts the statues I found? Let me know thanks.
Regards;
Luke
Great Question Luke.
I do not practice in Idaho so I cannot give legal advice. It does appear to me that the statute only requires one party to consent to recording. You can look at the statute at http://www.legalcreditcures.com. Select the “check your state” option and it will link you to the statute.
It is very important to know your state’s recording laws so that you can legally record your calls and preserve evidence of phone conversations in which creditor abuse occurs. Most abuse occurs over the phone because the creditor thinks that no record is being made. If you have a record of what these thugs do to you, you can use that evidence to eliminate your debt.
Thanks for the question, Luke.
